Book Recommendation

On my recently favorite web page www.politik-digital.de I found an interesting review about a book dealing with the topic of Internet campaigning during the U.S. Presidential Election in 2000. The book called "Wahlkampf um das Weiße Haus" was written by two political scientists at the University of Innsbruck and gives, according to that review, an overview of the campaign strategies during the whole election process. If you want to read the review, please look at http://www.politik-digital.de/buchbesprechungen/buecher/filzmaier.shtml .
If you want to discover that web page on your own, you can also use the link to that page on my blog. Please let me know, if you have found some interesting news on it.

Blogs and their Potential Impact on the French Election Campaign

Sorry that it took such a long time until I publish some posts here. I promise I will do better during the next time.
As you maybe know, I also study France as cultural studies and therefore I decided to present you an article that combines our seminar topic "blogs" with the specific topic of my oral presentation "Campaigning". You can find it on the following page: http://www.politik-digital.de/edemocracy/wahlkampf/frankreich/2007tgeelhaar_hintergr_060407.shtml . It describes the impact that blogs will maybe have on the presidential election in France next year. Since I am going to spend the next year in a town near Paris, this article was very interesting for me. Maybe you can have a look at it and find it as interesting as I did.
