Book Recommendation
On my recently favorite web page www.politik-digital.de I found an interesting review about a book dealing with the topic of Internet campaigning during the U.S. Presidential Election in 2000. The book called "Wahlkampf um das Weiße Haus" was written by two political scientists at the University of Innsbruck and gives, according to that review, an overview of the campaign strategies during the whole election process. If you want to read the review, please look at http://www.politik-digital.de/buchbesprechungen/buecher/filzmaier.shtml .
If you want to discover that web page on your own, you can also use the link to that page on my blog. Please let me know, if you have found some interesting news on it.

hi tina,
since I have a seminar about the U.S. and the German political system in comparison this semester it was really surprising to get to know that in the U.S. politicians can raise as much money as they get, nowadays mostly via the Internet. Compared to that, in Germany funds are financed by the public and conforming to the size of the party, esp. to prevent corruption. And additionally, single candidates cannot raise money for themselves only, as they can in the U.S. Kinda thrilling topic.
